The todays episode of Megha Barsenge opens with Manoj telling Alka that he cannot become a father. He says this baby is her last hope and will call her “mother.” Manoj warns Alka not to help Arjun and Megha, or a wall will come between them. They hear the baby crying, and Manoj tells Alka to give the baby to Megha. Megha hugs the baby, calming her. Arjun reminds Megha that Manoj must not find out the baby’s real gender.
Plan to Escape
Arjun and Megha plan to escape with the baby’s help. They convince Alka to support them. At night, Alka keeps the baby with her, promising to manage if the baby cries. The next day, during the “Doodh Snaan” ritual, the priest says a girl cannot become Shahbahadur, shocking Manoj. Megha dreams that Manoj will harm the baby if he finds out she’s a girl. Megha shares her fear with Arjun, who says they must execute their plan carefully.
Megha Barsenge: Smoke and Escape
Arjun tells Manoj that Megha is sick and needs ice cream. Manoj arranges it. Arjun explains to Megha and Alka that when the priests put the baby in the milk bowl, smoke will spread, and they can escape. During the ceremony, Megha and Arjun cover themselves with shawls and run away in the smoke. Manoj realizes their plan and gets angry.
Hope and Doubts
Meanwhile, Alka reaches near the Nepal border with the baby, promising to raise the child as her own. Megha and Arjun wait for Alka but grow worried. Megha doubts if Alka betrayed them to keep the baby because she cannot become a mother. Arjun feels something is wrong but believes Alka wouldn’t do this, as she knows Manoj would find out soon. He notices a camp near the border and feels Alka might have gone there.
