The todyas episode of Megha Barsenge begins with Megha explaining to Alka why she returned. She says Manoj should never find out about the baby, and she’ll stay hidden until Arjun finds a way out. Alka mistakes the baby for a boy, but Megha reveals it’s a girl and says it’s God’s way of punishing Manoj. Alka, angered, says Megha should have killed the baby and even tries to smother her with a pillow. Megha stops her just in time and slaps her. Alka shows her bruises and says no girl survives in Bandipur. Megha apologizes and says her daughter will fight back and never give up.
Megha Barsenge: Manoj Hears the Baby Cry
As the baby cries, Megha gets scared that Manoj might hear. Meanwhile, Arjun is working in shops and buys toys for his daughter. Back at home, Megha pretends she’s still pregnant when Manoj confronts her about the crying sound. She blames his imagination and says she hasn’t eaten, which is why her bump is small. Manoj leaves suspiciously. Later, Megha finds Alka with the baby and Alka takes her to a secret room where they can stay safely. Alka reassures Megha and then leaves when Manoj calls her.
Megha Barsenge: Arjun Meets Megha Secretly
Arjun sneaks into the house and hugs Megha. He tells her the guards fell asleep because of the opium smell. He shows her the toys he bought. Megha worries that he hasn’t eaten and feeds him. When the baby cries again, Arjun asks Megha to sing. They joke that the baby prefers movie songs, and together they sing her to sleep. Arjun proudly calls her a rock star.
Megha Barsenge: Kinnars Arrive for Blessings
The next morning, Kinnars come to Manoj’s house to bless the baby. Manoj tells them the baby hasn’t been born yet. But one local man informs him that someone recently bought clothes and toys for a newborn, creating doubt in Manoj’s mind.
